Oct. 17, 2011 (Golden, Colo.) – ServiceMagic, Inc., the leading online source for connecting consumers to pre-screened professionals, has launched two mobile apps, ServiceMagic Mobile and ServiceMagic Pro.

The relaunched ServiceMagic Mobile allows homeowners to use their mobile device to start any project with ServiceMagic’s network of screened and rated professionals, as well as easily access a professional’s profile, contact info and customer ratings. Additionally, the app allows for management of home improvement projects submitted through ServiceMagic.

“I love the easy access of the app for my iPhone,” said Christopher Lawton, a homeowner who submitted a review of ServiceMagic Mobile. “ServiceMagic is a great resource for any homeowner. I used them last summer for finding a landscaper and I am currently using them to find a contractor for a bathroom remodel.”

Building off of ServiceMagic Mobile,  the new ServiceMagic Pro app helps service professionals manage their ServiceMagic accounts, including lead management on their mobile devices and one-touch access to call or email customers, as well as access directions to a customer’s home. ServiceMagic Pro has already been downloaded by 10 percent of the service professional network since its launch in October.

“Our company was created to simplify the process of searching for a home improvement professional,” says Chris Terrill, CEO of ServiceMagic.”The addition of these mobile apps takes that one step further allowing our service professionals and homeowners the ease of using their mobile device to manage their accounts.”

The ServiceMagic Mobile and ServiceMagic Pro apps are available in the iTunes store or Android market, or visit the ServiceMagic Mobile website to download.
